Helicopter crash in Greece: During a aerial firefighting operation, at the “Avgo” location in Grevena, a Bell 214B helicopter, leased by the Fire Department, with a crew of two people, of whom one local and one foreigner, who acted as a liaison, crashed into the artificial lake of Aoos in Grevena. Cirrus SR22 Crash in Warsaw, Poland: A Cirrus SR22T, SP-GOS, crashed while on final approach to Babice Airport (EPBC) in Warsaw, Poland. Two person’s on board were killed. One person on the ground was injured.
The aircraft had departed Wroclaw (WRO) at 10:03 local time on a flight to EPBC. ADS-B data suggest that the aircraft flew south of and parallel to runway 10/28 at a distance of about 300 meters. The final ADS-B datapoints show a descending left-hand turn at 11:07. The aircraft subsequently crashed about 800 meters east of the threshold of runway 28 and a post-impact fire broke out.
The traffic pattern flown by SP-GOS deviated from the published EPBC Visual Operations Chart, which shows a traffic pattern to the north. ASN: Accident Cirrus SR22T G3x SP-GOS, Thursday 25 June 2026

Mahan Air purchases 10 777-200ERs: Mahan Air, Iran’s largest airline, is expanding its Boeing 777-200ER fleet with ten second-hand aircraft previously operated by Saudi Arabia’s flag carrier, Saudia. The first of these aircraft was delivered today, with more following soon.
