What is the difference between an MD-10 and a DC-10?

The DC-10 is known for it’s fully analog cockpit due to how old it is and reasons we won’t discuss here. But people decided after flying DC-10Fs for years that the analog cockpits were getting really outdated so decided to modify them into fully glass cockpits and called it The “MD-10”. MD-10 is just the rename after McDonnell merged with Douglas
