Yesterday, Southwest Airlines flight 733 to Phoenix - Sky Harbor Intβl Airport (PHX/KPHX
) was forced to return to its gate on Houston - Hobby Intβl Airport (HOU/KHOU ) due to a π»πβ―πΆππ woman who started undressing, jumping up and down and screaming on top of her lungs for 25 minutes in front of the passengers (INCLUDING CHILDREN, thats absolutely crazy). Sadly, the π»πβ―πΆππ woman was not charged due to her overbearing conduct, but she was taken into custody and then to the NeuroPsychiatric Centre at the Harris Health Ben Taub Hospital in Houston for a medical assessment.
According to eyewitnesses, she shouted, walked down the aisle and banged the cockpit door, abused the flight attendants and asked to be let off. It was very evident that she was having a mental breakdown. Another eyewitness said that a worker covered her with a blanket after the flight returned to Hobby Airport, but she took it off (unfortunately).
Southwest Airlines stated that the flight returned to its gate due to a βcustomer situation onboardβ. They also apologized: βOur teams have reached out to customers onboard the flight to apologize for the delay to their travelsβ.
Something similar happened earlier in Ια΄lΙΙΉΚsnβ: A Virgin Australia flight to Melbourne - Tullamarine Intβl Airport (MEL/YMML 
) was abruptly forced to return to Perth Intβl Airport (PER/YPPH ) due to a guy that raced through the cabin naked. He was subsequently taken to custody.
