Then we know how it crashed: The plane was coming in for a landing, saw the helicopter last second, collided, and both aircraft slammed into the river.
but why did it smash into the helicopter? thats what he meant
perfect a great job for the C.A.D.I guys rip all people on board on the two aircraft
this might be the case (press the @thehobbit user above me)
An ATC miscommunication that resulted in the crash? Pilot error on one or both sides? There are so many variables, and we wonāt fully know until everything has been thoroughly investigated by the authorities.
wdym?
yeah, i think its time to construct a hypothesis
the post you made from the crj pilotās father facebook post
Let me ask a very basic question. How the heck do you not see a freakin plane heading to
towards you. I mean idk abt you guys but i feel like a plane would be pretty easy to spot with its blinking lights. I know it seems the plane was sort of blending in with the city lights but still, i think it would be pretty easy to spot. Just saying
probably a pilot error, maybe they just thought the plane was far away from them and they continued flying in a straight line
I guess. Just seems really odd that the sikorsky pilots couldnāt see a CRJ that was less than a mile from them
they could climb if they saw the CRJ
UPDATE: The CVR of the plane and the helicopter has been found 7 hours ago. Heres a post about it: C.A.D.I update - The Hangar / General Discussion - Ice711 Community Forum
Sure, though I also work for C.A.D.I., so I may be a little busy.
