Found out about this last night. Awful. Rest in peace.
Damn I hope they survived the crash
And i found out about this when i came back from school in the car radio
The crews searching the wreckage said they do not believe there to be any survivors. So far they have pulled out 28 bodies
Aw man… there was 64 people onboard tho, so they’re still searching for bodies
No offense but this might be an Air Florida 90 midair collision edition (both crashed in the Potomac river)
That is exactly what I thought of when I heard that it went down on the Potomac. I am surprised that more incidents like this don’t happen at Reagan.
Same…
Well, unfortunately no one survived
My question is why didn’t the helicopter maintain its projected flight path? They still could have collided, but maybe this wouldn’t have happened if the Black hawk stayed its course.
Still no word of rescue workers finding the black boxes.
for real! why did the helicopter turned to the right, then to the left, and went into an straight line?!?!
I have no clue. I understand that if you’re doing a military training exercise, your aircraft is likely going to need to move around in more ways than a strait line. But if that’s what they needed to do, the make that your fricking flight path!
i agree, maybe its for military training, eh?
Just saw an update on CNN: the father of one of the pilots on the American flight shared some stuff on Facebook. “From what I can see, those guys turned right into the jet. I think the PSA jet was doing everything right. The Army pilot made a grave error.” The son was engaged and planned to get married in the fall. This is some awful crap.
damn, so that might be the case, its a pilot error from the helicopter, but it hasn’t been confirmed yet
i found this before getting to school man i tought this was going to be a good year
yeah, first the crash in ubatuba (brazil), then the corpse found in a jetblue airbus, and now A MIDAIR COLLISION IN THE POTOMAC RIVER?!?!?!?!?!
yeah
