Other Information

This is my RC plane, after a flight somewhere. Where is it? (good luck)

And before anyone says anything, this should count. I have all the requirements, it never said it had to be a specific flight, this is a real place and this is my plane, and by all terms and definitions, this is an aircraft.

Question, why is this here? I mean, you do have your own post and submission, which is already out there

Yes. I know you’re desperate to get your pic on a vid, but this is not the right topic to do so

But there are disadvantages, too. Helicopters hold very few passengers and little luggage. Plus, helicopters are highly dependent on weather. High winds and rain can ground a helicopter, which means you’ll have to wait until the weather clears before you can fly. Conversely, jets and turboprops can usually take off and land in such conditions without issues.

Helicopters also require roughly three times as much maintenance as a jet or turboprop, and these mechanical problems tend to occur more frequently. Helicopters aren’t cheap either; a Sikorsky S76 C++ usually runs at a cost of about $4,000 per hour, equivalent to chartering a brand-new midsize jet.

Helicopters also have a shorter operational range, and they’re slower. This means you spend more billable time in the air than you would on a plane. Many people think that flying a helicopter is going to be cheaper than a jet, but this isn’t the case. Smaller doesn’t necessarily mean cheaper.

However, helicopters can be cost-effective. For example, a small four-seat helicopter with a seat next to the pilot and two more behind costs around $2,000 per hour. That said, you’ll still have to deal with other factors such as limited range, speed, and luggage capacity.

when did I say I liked helicopters more than airplanes?
I find all aviation to be a really cool thing.
@HelicopterKid is just my name, because it is what sets me apart from most “avgeeks”

you said that you like it multiple times, stop lying:

In none of those posts, did I ever mention liking them more than Airplanes or seeing them as better than airplanes!!!
you should see my room! I have walls of aircraft posters and paraphernalia (even models) and only a few of those aircraft are helicopters.
Airplanes are cooler, faster, more efficient, better at carrying loads, reliable, cheaper…
the list goes on! You get it.

Here’s my official tier list of motorized vehicles:

  1. TANKS
  2. AIRPLANES
  3. HELICOPTERS
  4. CARS
  5. OTHER FLIGHT FORMS
  6. SUBMARINES
  7. SPACECRAFT
  8. SHIPS

Ok. How long did that take? Unless you fly there

Well, maybe like 30 minutes or less…

Obviously Nevada.
and the only thing in Nevada that isn’t a rock is Las Vegas.
And there are only a couple RC Airfields in Las Vegas.
So that narrowed it down quite a bit…

Nevada is just sand and mountains, and the deserts are plain and emty…
In Arizona, our deserts are a lot more lush:
