I have no idea why they do it, but it makes me mad. Saw an article about the stuff in Iran (or Iraq, my geography sucks), and they used an AI pic. So stupid.

Yeah. So what I heard was that a controller said to the fire truck, “yeah, you can cross the runway”, right after clearing the CRJ for takeoff. He probably didn’t see his mistake until after seeing the massive fireball on the runway. So, yeah.
