Hey guys, welcome back. So, you know about my brothers Eric and Nathan. But a few years ago, we added a new member to the family: Brenner. He’s five now. And I’ve realized something terrifying… he’s learning from us. And today, I want to tell you about the time he turned the tables on us.
It was a Saturday morning. Eric, Nathan, and I were all sleeping in. Being teenagers, we need our beauty rest, right? But Brenner? He wakes up at 6:00 AM. Like a rooster.
Brenner walks into my room. I’m dead asleep. He taps me on the face. I mumble something and go back to sleep.
I thought he left. I went back to sleep. Big mistake. Huge mistake.
Brenner went into the kitchen. He saw a bag of flour left out from my mom baking the night before. Now, a normal kid would ask for cereal. But Brenner is not normal. He is our brother.
An hour later, I woke up because I heard Eric screaming.
I ran into the hallway. I stepped in something white and powdery.
I walked into the living room, and it looked like a blizzard had hit Atlanta. There was flour everywhere.
And in the middle of the room? Brenner.
Nathan walked out, saw the mess, and started choking on the flour dust.
Brenner just smiled. He looked at me, and he pointed a floury finger right at my face.
Just then, Mom and Dad walked in. They looked at the destruction, then at Brenner, who was literally white as a sheet.
He framed me! He just pointed at me like I did it!
I spent four hours vacuuming the house. Brenner got a bath and a juice box. He sat on the couch drinking it while I cleaned, watching me with a smirk.
He looked at me and said, “Good job, Conner.”
I realized right then that we are in trouble. He’s smarter than all of us.
