Helicopter crashes during emergency landing in Germany

sigh… Another crash in Germany?! (if you dont know what im talking about, go here: Light plane overturned upon takeoff in Germany)

A Robinson R-22 Beta, operated by Helicopter Training und Charter GmbH and registered D-HTCH crashed on a field nearby the local A59 Motorway while approaching the Sankt Augustin Bonn-Hangelar Airfield (BNJ/EDKB :de:) on an emergency landing.

There were 2 occupants: a 40-year-old pilot and a 31-year-old passenger, both of whom suffered minor injuries (fortunately ).

The helicopter took off from Düsseldorf Int’l Airport (DUS/EDDL :de:), and according to the local fire department, many motorists observed the crash and alerted the control center. The helicopter broke into several pieces in a field.
