Some of us are avgeeks. Some of us just know a lot about planes. Has there ever been a time where you learned a fact about planes that still blew your mind, EVEN THOUGH you were an avgeek?
For Example: this one’s a little gross, but did you know that air pressure is used to flush the toilet on a plane? Crazy, right?
Also, feel free to just geek out about something. Airplanes are cool!

In a study, more people were likely to say having a dream about a plane crash the day before a flight would make them cancel their trip than if they were given a government warning about “high risk of terrorist attack”(national threat level orange)

I first heard of this study on PBS Be Smart’s video about dreaming, so check it out!

also, even though smoking is COMPLETELY ILLEGAL on planes, lavatories still need to have ashtrays just in case…(smoking is horrible, don’t do it)

Not a fact, but an experience:
Once, for Christmas, someone got me a Metal Earth F-22 model. I was happy, and thanked her, and she proceeded to ask, “Is that one of the ones from WW2? Like the old ones?” I politely said, “no, it’s modern.” but in my mind I was shocked.
