At 20:24 PDT, while descending through 5,000 ft, the crew reported a “slight vibration” to ATC. Two minutes later, radar contact was lost approximately 12 nm west of the Golden Gate Bridge. The aircraft impacted the Pacific Ocean in a steep descent. No distress call was received.
