TL;DR
Forum behavior is getting out of control and it needs to stop.

Recently, I haven’t been on the forum as much because I have a life that needs tending to. I have occasionally came on to see what posts are being made but other than that I haven’t interacted with the forum (besides that one DC-10-10 rating) This evening, it was brought to my attention that multiple people have bypassed the swear word blocker, which is unacceptable. This isn’t a new thing either. I feel as though this forum is very gracious to offenders, because if I had said some of the stuff you all say on another forum that I used to be on, I would have been permanently banned within the hour. I don’t understand why you guys think it is okay to bypass the swear word blocker, because it isn’t. Access to this forum is a privilege, not a right, and if I had it my way a good chunk of you all would be banned from this forum for the foreseeable future.

My point is obvious, straighten up. I personally believe we need to be a heck of a lot stricter with rule enforcement on this forum (and I am not saying I haven’t been an offender, just that harsher punishment should be taken)

Another thing I want to address is the random stuff that you guys are posting on here. This is an aviation forum, so post aviation related stuff. It is that simple. If you guys want engagement, then make stuff that is related to aviation, and don’t just make a random post or revive a super old one. Right now, this forum is going on the same path of another one which I used to be on. That other one has had 11 messages in the past week. When I was on there before the huge controversy, they could have up to 50 messages a day, give or take a few.

So two points; straighten up and don’t post boring, unrelated stuff.

If I see any swearing or rule breaking, the person responsible will get a warning.

If we weren’t allowed to post off topic, I and many others would probably just leave this place.

Yeah, I really need to straighten up. I’ve done some really horrible and nasty things, not only here, but in other online communities and in real life, as well.

I understand, but the problem is that a good chunk of the off topic stuff is nonsense that is just cluttering the forum. I think if the off topic thing is still constructive then you can post it but if it is just random slop, you should refrain from putting it on here.

Yeah, okay, but what I’ve done is way worse, and could’ve gotten me suspended. And some things I’ve done in other places have gotten me banned from those places.

  1. Saying the words of drugs
    For example i said the chemical term for the the drug molly and said cocaine and meth
