Yup, welcome to the hobby!
That happens a lot. Some foam glue or epoxy or something like that should fix that up in no time ![]()
Luckily, you have a pretty simple RC plane, so it should be an easy fix
Its not my first time lol , I have in total 1 drone and 3 rc planes , crashed 2 , glued one , the third lost a wheel on the first flight (It was a bf109)

I have a plane that disconnected from the transmitter and nose dived, hopefully it can be fixed (the guy at the hobby store was less certain), a plane with structure issues, and a plane that needs a new servo.

If you want an upgrade, I would suggest something like the Leambe WW2 planes or any other plane like that. They can be fun to fly once you get used to the controls.
You can find them on amazon, I have the Leambe P-51 and I enjoy flying it, even though I have bigger planes
