How is Mercury closer?

That says “At its closest”, meaning it is not always that way. Planets orbit at different speeds, and because Mercury orbits every 88 days, it is most of the time the closest planet to Earth. CGP Grey explains it all in his “Which Planet is the Mostest Closest” video.
