Pakistan International airlines A320 suffers birdstrike and nearly crashes at Lahore

A PIA A320-214, operating flight PK203 and registered AP-BLC suffered a birdstike after departure from runway 36R at Lahore Allama Iqbal Int’l Airport (LHE/OPLA :pakistan:), heading to Dubai Int’l Airport (DXB/OMDB :united_arab_emirates:).
Thankfully, the flight returned to land back at LHE. Local media report an internal engine inspection will be conducted to check for damage.

another disturbing thing: i heard that this plane had another birdstrike in 2023 (according to Bird strike Incident Airbus A320-214 AP-BLC, Tuesday 18 February 2025)
