Delta, Bastian, and Tariffs

So this is a bit old, however recently Ed Bastian, the CEO of Delta Airlines, said he would not be paying tariffs on aircraft deliveries. This can and probably will extend the 717’s service since A220’s are mainly made in Montreal. This might also be the case for older 757’s, since their replacement, the A321, are assembled in Hamburg, some random town in China, Toulouse, and Mobile, however Mobile will not be able to make the amount of A321’s Delta wants in the time that Airbus would’ve promised. What do you think about this?
