Art Rating/Planefinder Submission Guidelines

Video Submissions > Art Rating (Aviation Art) and Video Submissions > Planefinder are the submission areas for Art Rating and Planefinder videos, respectively. Please refer below to the category-specific guidelines that must be followed when making submissions.

Having issues submitting something? Make sure that you are logged into your account, are in the correct category, and have selected the :plus: New Topic button. If you are still having issues, feel free to message @ForumModerators.

Art Rating Guidelines

PLEASE READ THE BELOW DETAILS BEFORE POSTING

1.) Submitted art must be related to aviation and created by you. Screenshots of games or anything that you did not create is not allowed.
2) The art you post MUST be yours. If you “art steal”, you will be unable to post in this category and your topic will be removed.
3.) DO NOT post more than one topic for your art. If you do, moderators will merge your two topics together.
4.) When an Art Rating video releases, this category will be cleared out and sent to an archive category.
5.) Photoshopped art is not allowed. These will be moved to the Community Hangar > General Discussion category.
6.) Submitted art must follow the forum rules.

DISCLAIMER: Humorous creations are always accepted, but ANY Aviation art that is AI generated, offensive, inappropriate, or displaying explicit material is NOT allowed, and shouldn’t be submitted.

Planefinder Guidelines

PLEASE READ THE BELOW DETAILS BEFORE POSTING

1.) The photos you post MUST be yours. If you steal a photo, you will be unable to post in this category.
2.) DO NOT post more than one topic for your photos. If you do, moderators will merge your two topics together.
3.) Photos must have an airplane and some distinguishable landmark (i.e. don’t post a photo of a plane in the blue sky with no distinctive features to determine the location)
3.) When a Planefinder video releases, this category will be cleared out and sent to an archive category.
4.) DO NOT SAY OR GIVE AWAY THE LOCATION OF A PHOTO! If you, the topic creator, state the location, it will be removed. If you, someone who replies to a topic, state the location, your post will be removed and you will receive a warning.

DISCLAIMER: This series involves fans sending in their planespotting, air show, aviation museum, or any other airplane photos that include an intriguing background. Your photo may include yourself if you’d like. Ice711 will use resources such as Google Earth/Google search to pinpoint the exact location at which the aircraft in the photo lies.

Please ensure that the photo has a background consisting of significant markers so I have something to base my search off of, such as an ATC tower, a city, mountains, etc. Do NOT submit images that aren’t yours, or are stolen from somewhere else on the internet. Images that are AI generated, offensive, inappropriate, or displaying explicit material are NOT allowed, and shouldn’t be submitted.
