In places, it is not pretty and was a pain in the butt to put together (mainly the landing gear, and yes. I realize one leg is further forwards than the other, but there is nothing I can do about that anymore). It’s a Revel 1:48 scale F4U-4B from the Korean War. The painting was hand done and I mixed the paint myself. Goio56 has know about this for some time and has been helping me with parts of it and giving me tips (it’s been a big help, thx!), but I figured it was about time I did a post about it. Honestly, for a first model, it’s not bad but it’s not great. Long story short, I’m almost done. I just need to do another coat of paint to clean it up, and then apply decals and finish the payload. Anyways, hope you guys like it! Also, anyone who does modeling, what’s the biggest think I have to look out for when doing decals? ---
