I feel like here is really only a few active users, like, maybe 20 on a busy day, but there are so many more members? why do I never see them? ---

People have stuff to do. They have lives to live. The forum is likely a side thing, or just a place to pop in to post a plane pic of some art and that’s it. And discord is more popular. ---

Some people just use this to upload their art or plane finder and that’s it. It is mostly “advertised” as a place to do just that ---

True. But also, a lot of people joined during the summer, then fall hit, and school was like, “HEY! I DEMAND ALL YOUR TIME!!!” ---
